This amazing company creates innovative insurance solutions for residential, commercial and mixed-use strata communities and more importantly have been a wonderful Corporate Hero helping us help many others!!

Go Transit Media
We also love the GoTransit Media Group they are the revenue engine for businesses using transit out-of- home advertising, helping tell their stories directly to customers as they journey on buses, taxis, and light rail around Australia. Australian Pavement Management
“It’s a simple but good concept, we regularly turnover
our laptops for our engineers ….there is always the
issue of what to do for the ones that we need to pass
on. The Laptop Initiative provides an opportunity to be
involved in social responsibility and makes sure those
laptops are reused in a worthwhile situation.”

Micromine
“Micromine is proud to a support The Laptop Initiative. It is a great way for Micromine to contribute to the community and help close the Digital Divide, it benefits the environment and is extremely motivating for our teams to be involved in this great initiative. Well done to the Laptop Initiative Team.”

Frequently Asked
Questions
What types of laptops are accepted for donation?
What if the laptops breakdown or are lost?
How long does it take for the Corporate Heroes to prepare the laptops and how much does it cost them?
What if we don’t have any IT personnel to undertake the wiping of the data??
We can provide instructions for the wiping of data for your staff to use.
What if we have many machines and don’t have the staff time to wipe the data?
The Laptop Initiative has a strategic partnership with an e-waste specialist Zolo, they can pick up, securely transport and wipe data and provide ISSO Certification to comply with your company policies around data security.
Zolo is located in Sydney but is able to pick up laptops from around Australia.
A small percentage of laptops will be retained by Zolo to cover transportation and wiping costs, and the balance of devices will come to The Laptop Initiative for distribution to charities. Their website: https://www.zolo.com.au/about .
How does The Laptop Initiative work?
As soon as we have a planned donation from a Corporate Hero we contact our charities to work out who needs how many and where, and whose needs are more urgent.
We try to pick up and deliver in just a few days. This way we don’t need storage or warehouses, and the laptops go quickly to those who need them.
